Self catering short breaks can sometimes be hard to find. However, The Shorehouse offers the accommodation which increasing numbers of customers ask for; the freedom of self catering with the flexibility and budget of a short break.
The Shorehouse offers self catering short breaks to couples, families and small groups. So if your self catering short break is for two days or two weeks, make The Shorehouse apartments and cottages your choice of Arran accommodation.
Take a low level walk on a mountain path or try one of the many cycle routes. For the more adventurous you can gorge walk, paraglide, kayak or power boat. Arran is made for adventure. However, it also provides a great environment to relax and take it easy.
Our self catering apartments come with conveniences usually seen only in more expensive accommodation. Most of our apartments enjoy sea views looking out across they bay to Goatfell or across to the Ayrshire coast.
We are members of the local Golf Club but experience has told us that unfortunately we do not have the facilities to support large groups of golfers.
In addition to our apartments, we also have cottages available. 'Shorehouse Cottage' is a self contained annex to the main house located on the ground floor. 'Cloy Cottage' is a traditional Arran Cottage located in the heart of the village with its own private garden where you can relax to the sound of the Cloy Burn as it runs past the bottom of the garden.
